Welcome to Oakwood Elementary School-home of the Eagles! We are located in the town of Algoma just up from the shores of beautiful Lake Butte des Mortes. Oakwood is an known for its long tradition of academic excellence and strong partnerships with the community and our families.
As our school sign says “the Pride’s Inside!” The staff at Oakwood is committed to building positive relationships with students and their families.
We believe that without significant relationships no real learning can occur!
We believe that we are all needed, and valued contributors, these connections that we have with others are the foundation of building the sense of family that we aim to create at Oakwood Elementary.
Our partnerships with parents and families is critical to our students success! After all, parents are a child’s first teacher. Families and visitor are always welcome at Oakwood. Feel free to come for lunch or volunteer in classrooms. Stop in at the office or call for more information.
